Each week I try to bring you the latest research on leadership, business, and work in general. This week I’m sharing some leadership news that is sad but unfortunately, not surprising. Since the pandemic we have seen many lose their jobs, quit jobs, or even change career paths to deal with the effects of the global pandemic. Among the groups most heavily impacted is working mothers.

New research shows us what many already know: COVID-19 is disproportionately impacting working mothers. My goal with this podcast is not to wear you down with these numbers, but to build awareness so you can be empowered–whether you are a working mother, a working father, or a leader supporting working parents. It’s on all of us to understand the impact of this pandemic and to do what we can to help those we lead thrive in the face of challenging times.

While life is certainly difficult right now, it is not without hope. There are things that we can all do to help each other out, make life easier, and move forward in this uncertain time. The solutions I provide can help in these efforts.
