It’s time for another book review! This month I’m bringing you one of my favorite books when it comes to leadership in the modern world, Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us by Seth Godin.

Seth Godin is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, blogger, and business leader. He’s started and sold two different successful businesses, and writes about leadership, marketing, and important life skills. He has written over 20 books, most of which have been best sellers. He’s also a successful podcaster, his show Akimbo A Podcast from Seth Godin is available wherever you find podcasts.

Tribes is a book about leadership. Not the leadership of a select few who hold positions in government or business, but the leadership of everyone and anyone. The book talks about the opportunity each of us has to lead and start a movement of people who are passionate and driven. The idea is that there are tribes of like-minded individuals who are just waiting for someone to lead and inspire them to push aside the monotonous, and chase after their united dreams and passions. Godin argues that too many of us are afraid to take the opportunities we have to lead because we’re too afraid to question what would be possible if we didn’t “sheepwalk.”

This is a great book, and I hope you’ll take the opportunity to join me on this episode as I share some of the key concepts of Godin’s work, and how it can apply to you in your life.
