Hello friends! First and foremost I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I know I’ve enjoyed having a little break from the craziness of life to spend some time with family and friends.

As we approach the end of the year I–like many of you–am reflecting on 2019 and looking forward to 2020. If you’re like most people, as you consider 2020, you may be thinking about New Year’s Resolutions. Let me be clear, I HATE New Year’s Resolutions! I think they are silly and most of us break them before the second week of January, to say nothing of the abysmal research indicating that we are lousy resolution-keepers. That being said, when we have desires for personal growth and achievement, we need to be active in setting specific and achievable goals and there’s no better time than the New Year to focus on a plan, define some goals, and set the path for the year ahead.

I am so passionate about helping you pursue what really matters, and so for the next three weeks on the podcast I’m going to help you prepare for 2020. I’ll focus on the importance of vision, helping you achieve that vision with flexibility, and then setting real-world priorities that align with your vision while not overwhelming you. Sound impossible? It’s not!

This week’s episode is all about purpose. Before you ever set a goal, you need to know what you care about, what you’re working towards, and why it matters. More than just having goals, purpose is about having direction for your life. Where do you want to go? Who do you want to be? What do you want your life to be about? Purpose is the foundation from which powerful goals are achieved. This is incredibly important, and I hope you’ll join me this week as I share some keys to understanding and clarifying your purpose!
