Accountability can be one of the most challenging aspects of leadership. Finding the fine balance between autonomy and structured guidance can be a big challenge for many leaders.

Accountability is a team sport, and requires the cooperation and alignment of everyone on a team and within an organization. With this week’s podcast, I’ll share the first pillar of accountability – responsibility – and the critical role leaders play.

You as a leader are responsible to create a process, structure, or method for your team members to be accountable to. Accountability is not always fun or easy, but it can make all the difference in helping teams and organizations thrive.

Then be sure to join me next week as well when I discuss the second pillar of accountability – ownership.
